Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

wabill is a product of K2026012823 (Pty) Ltd, a South African registered company. wabill is a set of free online generators for invoices, quotes, payslips, credit notes, receipts, and statements. You fill in a form in your browser and save the result as a PDF.

We are registered with the South African Information Regulator (Registration Number: 2026-003520). For any privacy question, email privacy@wabill.co.za.

2. What happens to what you type

The generators run entirely in your web browser. The business details, client and employee details, amounts, and logo you enter are used to draw the preview on your own device. They are not uploaded to wabill, not stored on our servers, and not shared with anyone.

Nothing is saved between visits. If you refresh or close the page, the form is cleared. The PDF is created by your browser's own print function and saved wherever you choose. What you do with that file, including who you send it to, is up to you.

3. What we do collect

Because there are no accounts, we do not hold a profile about you. We collect only:

• Website analytics: pages visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. This never includes the contents of the documents you create.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address and time of request, for security and reliability.
• Email: if you write to us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, and there are no login cookies because there is nothing to log in to. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings and the generators will still work.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information for marketing. The only third parties involved are our hosting provider, which serves the website, and the analytics providers named above. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Former wabill accounts

wabill previously offered a WhatsApp invoicing service with accounts and a web dashboard. That service has been discontinued. If you held an account and want to know what information is still retained, or want it deleted, email privacy@wabill.co.za and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we process it, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa. To exercise any of these, email privacy@wabill.co.za.

8. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Because your document data stays in your browser, keeping your own device and the PDFs you save secure is the most important protection. Take care when using a shared or public computer: close the tab when you are done.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always at wabill.co.za/privacy, with its effective date shown at the top.
