Terms of Service

Effective date: 15 January 2026

1. Who we are

wabill is a product of K2026012823 (Pty) Ltd, a South African registered company. By using wabill, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

2. The service

wabill lets you create and send professional invoices, quotes, and payslips through WhatsApp and a web dashboard. The service is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it running, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, and we may change or remove features over time.

3. Your account

Your account is linked to your WhatsApp number or email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, for keeping your account secure, and for everything done on it, including by anyone you invite. You are also responsible for making sure the documents you create comply with the tax and employment laws that apply to you, and for getting consent from the people whose details you add.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use wabill to:

  • Create fraudulent, misleading, or illegal documents.
  • Impersonate another person or business.
  • Send messages to people who haven't agreed to receive them.
  • Break any applicable law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Pricing and payment

You get 10 free documents to start. After that, it's R150/month. Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We never store your card or banking details. A small processing fee may apply at checkout. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime. Your access runs until the end of your current billing period. Subscription payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Your data and POPIA

Your data is yours. We only use it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Under POPIA, you are the Responsible Party for the personal information of your customers and employees, and wabill acts as an Operator, processing that data on your behalf and only for the purposes you provided it.

8. What wabill is not

wabill is a document creation and delivery tool. We are not an accounting firm, tax advisor, payroll bureau, or financial institution. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your documents, for your tax and employment compliance, and for collecting payment from your clients.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by South African law, wabill and its directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending your access

You can stop using wabill anytime. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. We will give you reasonable notice where we can.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. If something significant changes, we will let you know. The latest version is always at wabill.co.za/terms. These terms are governed by South African law, and any disputes go to the South African courts.
